Good campground bit check out your potential spot carefully. Some of them are tiny and wedged in.

A hidden gem. Stayed on a Wednesday night can't be 20 people here. Sites are clean and facilities are wonderful. Only beef is the province has gone to self serve via a call centre. Make a reservation drive right in. Stayed at site 30 looking at the water and listening to frogs and ducks. Under trees in case of rain. Been to provincial parks coast to coast and this was by far the nicest

Thought we would check out the campground as it was one of the few NS provincial parks we had not tried yet. Be careful booking from the pictures, our site 39 was not as implied and there are lots of VERY small sites. There are some nice site but most have heavy tree cover so little sunlight in sites. Not a fan of self registration system especially if you need any assistance or have questions. Disappointed in lack of a beach being so close to water/ocean. Lots to do in surrounding area but you have to drive out of camp. This is a nice place to stay if you are going through or if you have plans in the surrounding area... not worth it as a destination.

Camping sites suitable for everyone. Some are hidden on the hill, most are asking the shores on the Shelburne Harbour or Roseway river. There are sites for group camping and some private. Walking trails, picnic areas, boat launch, wildlife
